I will always be a fan of the classic art over the alchemist art. It's just not a Ryukishi game without it. Even with the ham hands in Higurashi.

IIRC Alchemist did do all of the arcs in Higurashi though and and added some original ones of their own so I don't think that would be a hint that they're only doing 1-4. Just that they haven't done the core arcs art yet.

EDIT: I'd expect that they won't do that art for awhile though since the core arcs aren't yet finished.
