I decided to dub over an episode of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya [the first "season", episode 14] with my own music and I'm pleased with the results, for the most part.
It was difficult to balance out my music with existing music, most notably at the end, but I think it also led to some cool harmonies. Basically this was just an experiment on my part to fit some music of mine into the context of a show; it was an exercise in timing and context, really. Basically it's an extended AMV of a sort, and I would be very appreciative if you told me what you thought. I'm particularly proud of the part starting from around 14:37, I thought the timing on that turned out really nicely.
I uploaded it to animemusicvideos.org. I would've uploaded it to youtube, but they've become increasingly more annoying when it comes to copyright, so this was my only real option outside of a filesharing site. Otherwise I wouldn't be linking to a page, but I really wanna share this. Anyway, here it is!
