More like Umineko's, although lower key and it's really only in a few stories. One story, "The Mistake of the Machine", deals with a lie detector and shows (like the Red Truth) how a statement can be absolutely true and still be misleading.
Other suggestions for Golden Age detective stories: Agatha Christie of course, especially the Mousetrap, Dorothy L. Sayers, and Ellery Queen.
