Considering how the anime is entering the arc that seems to be nearing its end in the manga, some padding and filler is to be expected. Let's just hope they won't pull an InuYasha by abruptly stopping the anime in the middle of the story and making us wait for who knows how long until the manga finishes before they start making new episodes.
