Like so many other Chinese movies, and US movies, only that we are used to it.
Hero, Fearless, Ip Man, Legend of the Fist (2010), etc...
When watching "True Legend" (2010) I was actually surprised that after 90 minutes it didn't have too much "evil Westerners/evil Japanese" vs. "good Chinese" in it, then they added 30 minutes of totally random plot after the movie should have been over to add just that...
The plot reminds me of
John Rabe (2009).
