That's the entire point. The author's modus operandi is to have a useless protagonist with a power that virtually unexplainable. The last time he did that, we have
THIRTY NOVELS, TWO ANIME SEASONS, TWO MANGA since he began and we have
STILL no proper explanation how said protagonist's mystery power works beyond hints and fan speculation.
You are basically trying to find out what Chii-chan has 7 seasons ahead of time, stuff that hasn't been written down yet. Of course there will be no satisfiable answer.
