i actually really like scenes like this... if Kamijou was a high school student outside of Academy City, he wouldn't be able to do any of those. i love scenes that show that Kamijou IS an Academy Citizen after all. like these moments in the earlier volumes:

That difference in values was one of the walls between those within Academy City and those without, but Kamijou simply pulled “How to Raise Cats” from the shelf without thinking on it any further.
