Well, to be honest, I think the Kampfer author kind of asserted his authority especially if you have BOTH the publisher and the fans egging him to do a Shizuku end.
And as for Claire end? yea, burning houses is needed. But, there is still nothing that says that Claire will be winning. Otherwise, the title would be the "Claire and her contracted spirit." so, since the title is "blade dance"
