The cost of buying a new tank/refilling it every time it runs out will catch up with the compressor. If you're going to use it in the long term, it's more cost-effective to get a compressor from the beginning. Just have to buy fewer kits for the time being.
IMO it's a small price to pay if you want to have better looking kits.
