That's not the point of Sakura. She is specifically designed to be an ordinary girl that can stand beside giants. Sadly, Kishimoto never went through the leg work required to legitimately shown her being able to stand beside her teammates.
(That being said, she was the top ranked kunoichi of her class, that is why she was placed with Sasuke and Naruto (the top and the bottom of her class).)
