Well, you see, maybe he doesn't mind to sleep with a child. As far as I recall, he did very missunderstable things with her in Nise because he didn't really think of her as a girl but as a child. I think this may be a similar case.
Just remember the phone call. He didn't sound like someone who is interested in her in "that" way.
