That's why I said its not for everyone. Reading machine translations is mostly about just getting the gist of things from rearranging grammar. It takes patience and is not terribly accurate on the details, but it works.

You should see some of the truly horrible GT translations out there. For a machine translation it really isn't bad, although it is obviously nowhere near a "real" translation.

Patience? Yes. But it also takes skills. There was that one person who provided summaries for Mahouka that was a super pro.

the future self visit is the last two chapters. As stated, it was quite chilling because Rudy's future self is a physically old, lonely, and regretful man. Current Rudy sees an old man with cold, cold eyes that kills daily. All the girls around him die and it's obvious that the main culprit is the Human God. The future self warns him that the Human God cannot be trusted, but at the same time do not aggravate him because Rudy himself isn't strong enough to handle him. In the end, Rudy also sees his future self die in front of him. Before future Rudy died, he handed present Rudy a diary.

Well, maybe Rudy will get serious again about his training now that he knows the disturbing future.
