As much as I wanted to but serious, I am not even sure what to do with the setting....(admittedly it is already a mess to begin with).
There is just.... no real conflict in the story.
Even the events in the canon does not even seemed to be connected or have much relation to each other....they are just random stuff happening.
Here is what I meant:
Events in IS:
You wake up
Eat Breakfast
Go to school
Come back from school
Stuff
Sleep.
Oh, yea and you fail your test.
No relation between events, things that you do in the past does not have serious impact on the future. Characters are just there and their interaction has no effect on the story what-so-ever.

Probably a better idea:
You overslept
Skip breakfast
Run to school
Hungry because you skipped breakfast
??? (attempt to get some food)
Get detention for ???
Come home late
Play some games
Sleep earlier.
What happened earlier affect your actions afterwards. If you offended somebody.... that same person probably hold a grudge and try to get back at you at a later date.

Now that I have identify the problem... I will see how to integrate with what I know into the story.
