Watching the first episode of this show gave me a deeper appreciation of Love Live!
Not that this show is bad - It was nice and fairly engaging - But the poise and polish and character strength of Love Live! really stands out in my mind when I compare it to this new show.
But to be fair, I like the two main girls of this show, and they had good solid interactions early on. The story that they're telling with these two girls is an endearing one, and easy to latch onto, at least so far. And I liked how their first stage performance together was both brutally realistic, yet also ending on a believably upbeat note with a nice song.
