Glad to see these. I also am forced to admit that I would not have been happy to get episode 11 without episode 12 immediately following. It hurts seeing Aoi in that depressed state, and ending on an episode with her thinking about giving up on mountain climbing altogether would have just been too sad.
I was really glad to see Aoi pull herself out of that state, and with only the unintentional assistance from Hinata's letter. For all that I'm sure Kaede could have had some words of wisdom to help Aoi get back on her feet, and for all that I really love Kaede, I'm kind of glad that she wasn't around to solve the problem this time. She's been the reliable big sister for the girls many times in the past, giving simple but appropriate advice at just the right moment multiple times. I think it was good to show that Aoi cares enough to set her feet back on this path without that guidance.
