But it's a really hard part so she haven't been able to play it well.
休憩もせずに練習する久美子だったが……。
As Kumiko was training non-stop......

the phrase and part on second line, it's written those words in katakana but it may very well have a specific translation as it's music related. But I'm not knowledgeable about that.

Looking even more forward to next episode.

Based on the terminology presented, in particular パート練習 = section practice, I reckon that it meant being asked to play a 'phrase' that belonged to a different section/instrument.
