Production I.G. gets it and does a magnificent job in adapting the manga into anime. Season 2 was a wonderfully production of a popular action-filled sports manga. Even the few non-manga scenes added shows that they know how much they understand the material and adds to the anime. Small moments in Episode 25 show their attention to detail, like Hinata lightly swiping Kageyama's t-shirt left sleeve to get him to thank Yachi, and his body language of swinging his chest and arms left-and-right in not wanting the practice to end.
The next match was deliriously action-packed and intense in the manga. If Production I.G. continues with how they did the Karasuno-Aoba Josei match for the upcoming Karasuno-Shiatorizawa match, it's going to be more hype than what we have gotten so far.
