Kaoruko did note once that for Asahi's "interest" to awaken for Terumi, he would need to see other girls and Asahi herself had to see this happen for her to acknowledge that she loves the guy. She's that stubborn but that's what makes her so lovable.
Besides, her "pettiness" is nothing compared to Rokujou and Tsukasa. Rokujou is willing to go around kissing Terumi's current girlfriends to freak them out enough and get them to back off (Poor Yuu). Tsukasa actually got angry when she saw a cross-dressing Terumi with Konoe and we saw how she tried to disrupt Terumi's date with Hanada when she started antagonizing both with her friends. Hanada managed to turn that around on her when she asked Tsukasa if she's only acting like this because she secretly loves Terumi.
