At the start of this show my finger hovered over the stop button as I thought "OH FFS!", but as the scenario became more bizarre and then we entered the real world with the editor neatly skewering the main guy's fetish nonsense, I wondered if this might be going somewhere interesting.
But no.
To be honest the thing I found most interesting in this show is that i don't remember any other anime where people drank stout. Usually when you see people drinking beer in anime it's some foamy lager, so a stout, which is an actual stout (the brewery's name appearing in the end credits) was a welcome change. Sounds like an interesting brew, too.
Other than that, I might give it another episode or two but don't hold out any hopes.
