This was the best episode so far for me. Oscar's case was the most emotional for and was well presented. The culmination of it all, with Violet attempting to walk on water and the way the scene impacted Oscar was powerful.
Gilbert is most likely alive considering how no body was found, but the problem is less whether or not is he alive, but can Violet learn to live without him? I don't really have a problem with him coming back, but I prefer if he made his return after Violet has taken his last words to her about living to heart.
