I highly doubt that someone like Champa or Vados wouldnt have noticed at this point, if anything it just hasnt been outright stated, yet.
Kefla exists to fight the strongest fighters in the tournament, maybe the manga will even have a different take, like having her fighting Jiren, or Toppo or the rest of the pride troppers. Mind you, U6 is really really close to getting eliminated, so a last resort isnt out of question.
