With all the hype that this and Kimi no Na Wa have been bringing Shinkai (heck, I suppose we can include Garden of Words and maybe 5cm as well as part of the hype), plus the fact that I'm currently living in Japan... well, I kinda want to see it. On the other hand, any studio other than Ghibli, plus it feels like Japan as a whole, seem to love their anti-Disney, anti- happy ending stories. Which is why it's frustrating that although I could go see it... after hearing about some of the more recent releases here (Pancreas, for starters), plus the majority of Shinkai's works.. well, it would be a double-whammy: not only is my Japanese not nearly strong enough, but to then also watch a movie with a sad ending... yeah, I can't bring myself to commit until someone leaks the ending, and then i can decide if it's worth going.
And I still wish that I could find and English summary for the Bunny Girl Sempai movie, as it also deals with one of the most dramatic plotlines of that series.
