No, she didn't. Are you sure you read it correctly?
She only hit Touma once on volume 11/12 arc and that's all for the whole LN series. Anime added an original scene for sports festival.

Wants to get laid, wants to raise his status in the school, tried to be part of school activities and the like. He doesn't says it, he acts towards that goal.
