I can only think of air or atmosphere control from that, control air temperature, jump/fly, makes walls of it and is able to cut enemies using a breeze.
Atmosphere would be harder to use and control, and probably require fine training for every move.
Is probably air control, he even noticed when the assault team going for rockdude had arrived, possibly feeling the air being used or their movement in it.
The wall of air blocking the bullets in mid air is the hole, unless the way he controls is totally different from how I imagine it, maybe he doesn't need to make a wave to create a blade of air, making the air dense enough to stop bullets isn't impossible...oh well, I'll stay with this until confirmation.
