Definitely a mixed bag. Like I have said, using a different starting timeframe is a good idea, but the execution is just lackluster. The IF Route acknowledges events from the original 149 chapters, but HOW Nariyuki branched towards Rizu lacks a sufficient buildup. Sure, she is the fireworks girl here, sure, Uruka went abroad without confessing, but when Nariyuki just appeared in the apartment, he felt like a random mob character from D-Frag!. It feels artificial.
