During a July 4, 2020 The Idolmaster: Million Live! Theatre Days 3rd Anniversary celebration livestream, Bandai Namco revealed that The Idolmaster: Million Live! will be getting its own anime adaptation.
it was revealed via Famitsu that the animation will be done by the anime studio Shirogumi and will be directed by Shinya Watada of Aikatsu Stars fame. The series composition and script will be handled by Aikatsu! and Yo-kai Watch writer Youichi Katou.
