happened to be there doing his demonstration on the very day the party arrived there? Despite Naofumi being dropped off in an inescapable labyrinth with no way of telling when, if ever, they would escape? And why only Raphtalia? Why not also Rishia. Why even let any of them escape at all? He literally has them at his mercy. He could have just killed them then and there with 3 being underleveled and undergeared and the fourth being useless against humans.
