Well. It worked for me. Gotta check the novels someday if I ever have time. Actually I prefer this to the original ending. I hate original endings.
Yes, they don't really expect for another season but there is always the possibility there. After all there is like the 5 girls spread out in like 7+ volumes so I didn't have any hope to properly seeing them featured here. Maybe when the manga reach third girl as the anime takes more of the manga than of the LN.
