Okay, so we're keeping the same OP from last cour? That's fine. Still doesn't top season 1, but it definitely conveys that the main focus of this season is the gang war between Tenjiku and Toman, with Takemichi caught in the middle, and the big brawl between the groups that's about to happen. Also Emma and Hina
.
Takemichi starting out a season in his natural state...beat up. Kisaki has him right where he wants him. And he and Hanma just...let him go? Huh? Isn't this the perfect opportunity to kill Takemichi? He actually wants his "Hero" to oppose him and interfere with his plans? I get Kisaki trying to get Mikey to acknowledge him, and using Tenjiku in the process, but I have no idea what he wants to do with Takemichi
.
Well, there's no way Takemichi and his friends can fight off a whole Tenjiku group, but luckily the Mangoro siblings arrive just in time to run dudes over with their bikes with Takuya in tow. We've got "Smiley" who is the psychotic one, and "Angry" who is actually the nice one. And I know that Takemichi isn't close friends with Nahoya or anything but he's the only one who didn't know about the twins despite being in Toman for so long. Does Takemichi know ANYTHING about the organization he's a part of
?
Chifuyu I kind of get, but should we really be dragging Takemichi into a direct confrontation with the antagonists? I guess he is a damage sponge
.
Mitsuya vs Mochizuki! Mitsuya seems like one of the few who can actually go toe-to-toe with Mochizuki, but that's before the Haitani siblings show up and sucker punch him with a cinder block. Why does this keep happening to Mitsuya? Now they've got Hiro Shimono and Daisuke Namikawa to worry about
.
To be honest Kisaki being a time traveler would explain a lot, though who knows if it's true or not. Takemichi isn't particularly intelligent
.
Dang, Peh was visiting Pah in juvie and got jumped. Can't this dude catch a break
?
His organization is systemically being assaulted on all fronts by Tenjiku and Mikey is...talking to a taiyaki. Though he did get to meet the leader of Tenjiku, Izana, though he didn't know it. But man does Izana look psycho
.
Who would've thought one of the big four of Tenjiku would be Takemichi's childhood friend? He seems like a pretty amiable and respectful guy, even if his absolute loyalty to Izana means he won't help his old buddy, and he just let Takemichi hit him when he's probably much stronger than him. Though he also doesn't trust Kisaki
