In any case, manga vs. anime comparison (I have no idea whether this belongs in the fansub thread or not since it involves its animated version too):

I wonder why the animators didn't use the Himeno from the manga:

manga: Himeno (the girl beside Izumi with the brown hair + big boobs in episode 8, who were surrounded by those thugs until Kenichi & Akisame came, the girl in ep. 26 who Kensei & Sakaki runs past, and the girl who surprises Kenichi from behind telling him that Miu was looking for him in ep. 32) practiced martial arts too and almost always carried a naginata with her (I think it was for her club activities/practice)

anime: Himeno is now just a normal high school girl, you don't see her practice martial arts or carry around a naginata anymore.

IMO manga version of Himeno is better, although this might be because I wanted those cut out chapters to have been animated

Wow interesting i didn't notice this at all

Though the one i do notice was the big different between the Anime and the Manga beginning where they completely rush kenichi to the dojo right away where in the manga he didn't come until volume 2.
