Not a bad guess. I can see the Kyouko/Kenshin similarity now myself.
I was thinking of the anime Free! The five main cast members of Free! could work perfectly as the Madoka cast gender-bended. Aside from Nagisa having to dye his hair pink, the cast even has the right hair colors for it.
