1)When Hachikuji "dies" in Oni she didn't go looking for anyone nor did she face Kurayami, she simply disappeared into thin air as she past on into the other world.

2)Well to be fair we don't know when the last two books are going to take place so we can't say for sure that we know the true ending yet. However as you said Hana is the latest in terms on time. Shinobu was mentioned so don't worry she not dead.

Thanks for responding Omimon, this place is getting really quiet. Is there a set release date for the last two novels? And what about the Kizu movie, it's kinda funny how all of these things were originally slotted for 2012.
