This project is greatly depended on getting a translator, otherwise there can't be a fansub.
And it's such a good old series, with great music and soundtrack, it would be great if I could get this project off the ground.

I found the japanese DVDs. They come in a set of 2 boxes of 5 discs each, without any subtitles, NTSC TV format, 28/29 episodes each (total of 51 eps).
Unfortunately each box costs 250 dollars/euros, which is too expensive for me.
It's a shame, because this version had the original film remastered (cleaned-up, I believe) and telecined again with new equipment.

I guess this project would had to use VHS/LD raws, unless someone could come up with the DVDs...

I never watch this anime series and I really want to watch it subbed. If you can find a good reliable translator/team or any group interest to sub it, drop me a message too.

I think I have all of its CDs(4) and I can purchase the two R2 DVD box sets as I have been waiting for the chance to buy them. So the source is not a big problem.
