Juvia has gotten boring IMHO. well i don't find Juvia annoying or boring at all, in fact she is one of my favorite character in the series, i think that her comic theme is one of the biggest comedy in the series and about her love for gray,she is devoted to him, but we have also seen a scary and deadly side to it, when Meledy threatened to kill Gray.
And now it has also formed a love triangle with Lyon in the picture, i don't see why one should find her boring or annoying
