Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 12 (end-game spoilers):
-Hokuto and Kaburaki prepare for the party, with Kaburaki making Hokuto help him with "special preparations". Kaburaki explains what he means off-screen. Hokuto tells him he already forgot what Kaburaki told him, so Kaburaki tells him to write it down. Hokuto asks if it's anything funny, and Kaburaki tells him it definitely will be.
-However, Hokuto can't remember what to do, so Kaburaki reminds him about his notepad. Hokuto gives it to Kaburaki, who writes down the instructions. Kaburaki tells him to memorize it.
-Hokuto looks at the notepad, only to find that all the pages are filled with unintelligible characters and bizarre drawings he can't understand. He's confused, since what he had written was about Sora being an AI, the Plant Area, the methane hydrate, and other info. He's confused since he never wrote those symbols. He then looks at the first page.
(Did Kaburaki swap them?)
-The first page contains the date "May 1st, 2017", along with the names of the whole 2017 group (minus Kaburaki). Hokuto is shocked by Coco's name, and then he hears Coco's voice. He sees her carving on the backs of all three statues. Hokuto begins to get uneasy, and screams.
-Perpsective switch to a black screen. Takeshi/BW(?) says his whole self is turning white. He's in a black world where only his consciousness exists, and calls it "white darkness". He wonders where he is, and thinks the white darness is approaching him. It engulfs him.
-He opens his eyes only to see an invisible light staring at him, and feels in that invisible light, someone invisible is watching him. He then hears Coco saying, "Onii-chan, are you awake?"
-The rest is the "awakening" scene from Day 5 of Sora's Route, where she sics Pipi on Takeshi. As he washes his face, he remembers that You"haru" is supposed to play chicks with Coco, and thinks he can't miss this. He goes running around looking for them, and ends up at the gift shop.
-Inside, he sees Kaburaki, You"haru", and Coco. They inform him they just finished chicks, disappointing Takeshi. Dialogue from the original ensues.
-Takeshi expresses his disappointment that he missed it. Coco suggests that Takeshi and You"haru" have a match, and You"haru" accepts, and Takeshi thinks he should as well. However, You"haru" suggests they have breakfast first, and Takeshi remembers he has to do the repairs on the Cosmic Whale as well, so he agrees.
-They have breakfast, and then go to the warehouse to get the repair parts. Rest plays out like it did in Takeshi's Routes up until after the repairs are done. Takeshi goes to the Control Room, but is surprised that You isn't there. He looks in the Infirmary, but doesn't see her or Coco. He wonders where they've gone to.
-Feeling uneasy, he and Kaburaki look around. While running through a hallway, Takeshi hears Coco singing The Moon and Sea. He runs to the Lemurian Ruins, and finds Coco singing the song with You watching.
-Dialogue here is pretty similar to the original scene from the gift shop, though Takeshi talks about the repairs being done instead with You"haru". She congratulates him and Kaburaki on a job well done.
-Takeshi asks about Coco's condition, and You"haru" explains she was going to give Coco medicine, but Coco was already feeling better. Coco says she's fine because she ate "mermaid tears". She'd ask if he'd like some, and she shows him the bottle (which is now a glass bottle).
-Takeshi remarks they're what Coco was throwing into the water, and Coco tells him to have a bite. He finds that they're really good. You"haru" and Kaburaki have some as well, and agree.
Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 13 (end-game spoilers):
-Coco then mentions the 800 year nun. None of them have appeared to have heard of it, but You"haru" laughs and says "Do I know it? Heh heh heh... don't take me lightly." Takeshi gives her mock praise, and You"haru" tells him she's not telling. However, Coco says she'll tell, causing You"haru" to grumble. She then tells the story like in the original.
(I looked it up, and found out that this actually is a real Japanese tale. Since this is supposed to be a metaphor for Takeshi and Tsugumi, I wonder if the writers wrote their story around the tale, or if they just came across the tale afterwards and decided to use it? Then again, it can also be seen as a parallel to Coco's plight, so it probably was thought out beforehand.)
-Afterwards, dialogue is mostly the same except that You adds her own perspective, since she'd heard of the story beforehand. Coco says she hopes the nun meets her boyfriend again so they can have a "happily ever after". You and Kaburaki agree, and Takeshi admits a "happily ever after" would be nice.
-Rest plays out the same up until Coco says she bets the girl wishes she'd never drunk the tears. Takeshi tells her if she hadn't, then she wouldn't have been able to wait, meaning it's also what allowed her to have hope. Coco agrees, saying that because of that, even though she's lonely, that's why the possibility of a "happily ever after" still exists.
-You then compares it to the stories of Snow White, Cinderella, Briar Rose, and various other fairy tales where the girl is waiting for a prince. Coco and Kaburaki applaud her explanation, and the scene ends there (without You suffering from her heart condition or the Rip Van Winkle/Urashima Taro bit, but since they already showed it earlier, I guess there's no problem).
-Afterwards, Takeshi returns to the Maintanence Room to make some check-ups after informing Tsugumi and Sora. He then thinks up the party, and after gathering the materials, goes to the pool. He sees Coco and Pipi at the statue, though Kaburaki isn't there. Just then, Coco says, "Oh, I see Kiddo. Hey there!"
-Perspective switch to Hokuto. He thinks he heard someone call for him (note that Hokuto still doesn't know his real name yet, so he responds to "Kiddo") and turns around, but sees no one. Thinking he's going crazy, he closes his eyes, and cries.
-Just then, he feels someone patting his head. He hears Coco say, "there, there" and "You can see, but on the other hand, you've lost sight of everything. It's okay... I can see you. Be at peace... when that happens, you can see..."
-Hokuto calms down, and stops crying. He opens his eyes, and sees Coco. However, instead of the pool, they're standing in the same area of blue lines that we saw in You's Route. She says, "You can see, right, Onii-chan?"
-Just then, the world shifts to a blue sky, and we hear Sara (the speaker is "???", but it's clearly Sara's voice), and it's the memory of after Sara slashed Hokuto's arm again. He remembers the institute and everything him and Sara were put through. Basically, it's the flashback from Sara's Route. He then remembers that Sara is his sister.
Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 14 (end-game spoilers):
-Sara is beside him, and she tells him he suddenly lost consciousness. Hokuto tells her he's okay, and with the knowledge Sara is his sister, embraces her. Sara is taken aback, and Hokuto says, "I see, so that was it..." Sara is confused, and Hokuto apologizes for not remembering.
-Sara is still confused, and Hokuto says he remembers that they're siblings. Sara says, "Wh-What are you saying..." in a choked voice. She tries to deny it again, like in her route. Hokuto says, "Look at this, Sara!" and shows her his scar. He says it's the scar she gave him, and is proof that she's his sister.
-Sara cries out, "You're wrong... you're wrong..." and cries. Hokuto reminds her of their promise. She keeps denying it, and Hokuto says that's fine, as he knows that Sara can't forgive him for leaving her and hates him. Like her route, she says that's wrong, that she doesn't want to get him wrapped up in it all again. The two of them just embrace.
-Sora performs a DNA test, and confirms it. Sara grips the pendant as Sora tells them the results. She also informs them about the properties of the hologram pendant (that is, how it's infrared), and goes into her explanation from Sara's Route.
-After she finishes, Sara asks Hokuto if he remembers the lullaby. He does, and sings it. Sara falls asleep to it as he sings.
-Perspective switch to Takeshi, who's hearing Coco sing the lullaby. Takeshi thinks that the song makes him feel at ease, and how lullabies remind him of the past, back when he was a kid and thought differently about the world.
-She finishes, and Takeshi praises Coco. He asks about it, and she asks him if he knows it's name. He says no, since he only just heard it from Coco. She says she doesn't know the name.
-Perspective switch. You"aki" is saying, "Your name, your name!" The dialogue is the same from the original, though it's now in the Staff Room. When he tells her he didn't think about asking Sara his name, she sighs, and leaves the room.
-Hokuto follows her, asking where she's going. She says she's going to ask Sara for his name. Dialogue is the same just as Hokuto is about to start his lecture about why names aren't important, but You interrupts him early and says, "Then I guess fron now on, I'll just call you Number Six"
-Hokuto says he wouldn't like a name like that, and You says that proves her point, that a name is more than a designation, though she says she kinda gets what Hokuto's going at. Then she begins to talk about her own name, and the dialogue is the same again.
-After she rants about how she hated introducing herself at school, Hokuto then remembers her saying her name was longer, and says, "Right... your name was, uh... 'Yubiseiakikana Tanaka'..." You"aki" goes "Why you! Where did you hear that!?"
-Hokuto is confused, and You"aki" says (in an angry tone), "Was it from Mayo...? Dammit, even though I told her never to tell anyone... I thought I trained her better than that... heh heh, how should I punish her?"
-Hokuto says it wasn't Sara, so You"aki" asks where he heard it. He thinks, and says that she herself told him. He then remembers his epilogue with You"aki" from her route, and kissing her. When it ends, he wonders when he did that with You"aki". You"aki" is confused, wondering if she really did tell him. She then asks Hokuto why he's blushing.
Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 15 (end-game spoilers):
-Hokuto laughs it off, saying "no reason, no reason..." You"aki" still wonders when she told him. She then tells him her full name (explaining the kanji), and Hokuto gets mixed it up with her mother's name like in the original.
(Note that everytime You"aki"'s name has come up so far, we've only seen it in katakana. Hokuto still didn't know the kanji. BTW, I just realized that You"aki" was born on the Autumn Equinox.)
-Dialogue here is same as original, though abridged. Note that the "blanks" conversation between You and Sara is a bit longer than the original, though they just seem to be teasing Hokuto.
-When Hokuto's vision goes black, we see the blue lines again, and Coco, who also says something in blanks. She then continues to talk in blanks. Hokuto realizes he can't hear Coco's voice. She then says...
Coco: "... to... It's Hokuto... It's Hokuto, Onii-chan."
-We then return to Sara and You"aki", and the rest is the same as the original, but it removes the "palm" lines.
-Perspective switch to Takeshi, who's in the Qualle with Tsugumi. Like the original transition, he's asking about Chami. Lines are the same from Tsugumi's Route. When he looks out the window, Takeshi remarks his head feels heavy, and wonders if he caught a cold from rescuing Chami.
-Tsugumi asks what's wrong with a concerned voice. Takeshi tells her, and she asks if he's okay. He insists he's probably just tired. He then asks Tsugumi about her leg, and she says it's fine. He expresses slight doubt and she asks "wanna see it?" and starts lifting her skirt.
-Takeshi says, "I-Idiot!" and grabs her hand to stop her. She starts laughing loudly, to the point where Takeshi wonders if something's wrong. She then raises her hands to his face, and drops Chami on Takeshi's head. He then fakes anger and yells at Chami, though he's just playing around. He remarks, "Hmm... he certainly is charming."
-He then asks her what her name means, assuming she's named after a bird of the same name. She tells him no, and he asks her again. She says it means, "The Earth's satellite" and "The place where we are."
-Takeshi is confused, so Tsugumi tells him to break it down. He gets that "The Earth's satellite" means the "moon" and says they're in "LeMU". She asks him what's outside LeMU. He answers, "The ocean?" She then says yes, that her name is written with the characters for "moon" and "sea".
-Takeshi says, "The sea and moon, huh?" She says no, the moon and sea, as "sea" and "moon" have a different meaning. He asks what, and she says, "What we're riding now." He's confused, so she explains that when written together, the kanji for "sea" and "moon" in that order mean "jellyfish" in Japanese. She also explains that "jellyfish" can also be written with the kanji for "water" and "mother". Takeshi wonders what "water" and "father" would mean.
Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 16 (end-game spoilers):
-They exit the Qualle (without any indication they did the deed), and Coco runs up and they repeat the "Papa"/"Mama" scene from the original. All is the same, except Coco says the rule about "Mama" was written on the Lemurian tablet, not the Nacaal tablet. Tsugumi repeats to Coco not to call her "Mama".
-Takeshi then says he's going to get cold medicine, and tells Tsugumi he'll leave Coco to her, and runs off. He goes to the Infirmary, where he finds You"haru" gripping her chest in intense pain. Takeshi asks her what's wrong.
-Perspective switch. Hokuto asks You"aki" what's wrong. She begs for water, and he gives her the tea he has in his hands. She gulps it, and explains she was taking cold medicine, since it's supposed to help with dizziness and headaches. She asks Hokuto if he has a headache.
-He says a bit, but it's most likely the result of his amnesia. He asks about her, and she says it might be due to the stress of their situation. He notices she also takes another kind of medicine, and she explains it's something she needs to take in order to have her genes analyzed (sorry, I'm not 100% sure here), and if she doesn't continue to take it, there won't be results, as it's for a special illness.
-Perspective switch. Takeshi asks You"haru" "do you have a special illness?" He explains that he doesn't see anything like this normally in people, and that last time she had an attack she said "this happens all the time." She says, "Ohhhhh, so you're worried?"
-Takeshi says of course he is, and if there's something wrong about worrying about a companion. She says, "Companion... huh." and closes her eyes, just before she asks him if he remembers why she came to LeMU.
("Companion...huh." must be You"haru"'s way of saying, "So I'm in the friend zone, am I?")
-Dialogue is pretty much the same from the original up until You"haru" says "I'm running out of time." Takeshi denies that, saying they'll be out of LeMU tomorrow. You"haru" says "I'm talking about a different story... a story that definitely won't end with a 'happily ever after'..."
-Dialogue is the same as original. There's no choice whether to say you've sinned or not to You"haru", so Takeshi apologizes for getting her on this topic. She says that's all right, he was just worried about her, so there's no need to apologize, but thanks him. Rest of the dialogue is pretty much the same.
-Perspective switch to Hokuto, with You"aki" shouting, "Fraternal twins???", though they're in a hallway and not in the Lemurian Ruins like the original. Hokuto mentally explains that You"aki" and he took baths in their respective gender pools, and when they left, they began talking about himself and Sara.
-Hokuto gives his lecture about the different kind of twins again. At the end, You"aki" asks him where he heard all of that from, since he shouldn't know that since he has amnesia. He explains (embarrassed) that he asked Sora about it.
(To be fair, this did kinda weird me out in the original. I was like, "Wow, Hokuto... for an amnesiac, you sure know a lot about the reproductive systems and all about twin biology. Then again, you could argue he remembered that with the other things he remembered about Sara.)
-You"aki" manages to connect the conversation to the Third Eye, and Hokuto remarks that You"aki"'s mother was doing research on that. It then gets into a slightly condensed explanation about what happened after the hacking into LEMMIH, then it returns to the lines from the original. Again, they can't enter the mainframe because they only have half of the password.
Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 17 (end-game spoilers):
(I lost my first set of comments, so brief summary: Hokuto swipes the ID Card and enters the first password. You is shocked, and realizes the ID Card must be her mother's. They go to find Sara to ask where she got it, and find her in the Lemurian Ruins)
-Sara asks what they're doing together in a time and place like this, and says, "It can't be that when I wasn't looking, you developed that kind of relationship."
You"aki": "... Uh, Mayo, you're gravely mistaken. That's not it, I just came here because had something I wanted to ask you."
Sara: (in a serious voice) "... I see, I understand!"
You"aki": "Then I'll ask. Mayo..."
Sara: "It's all right. Nakkyu-senpai, I'll let you have my Onii-chan."
You"aki": "... Huh?"
Sara: "I've decided."
Hokuto: "... Huh?"
Sara: "Because Nakkyu-senpai is my favorite."
You"aki": "????"
Sara: (slightly tender voice) "And then, Nakkyu-senpai will become my Onee-sama for real..."
You"aki": (Also in tender voice) "You stupid girl... is that really what you think? I am always your Onee-sama, at any time..."
Sara: "Nakkyu-senpai..."
You"aki": "Don't say 'senpai'..."
Sara: "Nakkyu-oneesama..."
You"aki": (hushed whisper) "You're so cute, Sara..."
Sara: "Onee-sama...."
-They then burst out laughing. Hokuto can't help but feel the deja-vu. Sara then says, "All joking aside, what did you want to ask me, Nakkyu-oneesama... no, Nakkyu-senpai?" You"aki" asks where she got the ID Card, begging her.
-Hokuto thinks about the "Y.T." initials, and wonder if they stand for another name. He thinks about You"aki"'s real name (which nets me an Achievement). When he hears "Aki", he suddenly thinks about the word, and thinks back to the password.
-He realizes the kanji for "aki" is also in the password. He suddenly stares at the entrance to the Lemurian Ruins, seeing someone there: Coco. Dialogue is the same up until she says "Hokuto" for a second time. She retreats into the Lemurian Ruins.
-Hokuto follows her. He finds her deeper in, and she repeats the second part of the password: "The ocean where Hokuto remains will not pass through time."
-Perspective switch to Takeshi. Coco is saying the first half of the password. Conversation is the same up until Coco says she's talking with a being from another dimension. Takeshi says he's done that too, and Coco says, "Wow, you can also talk to people from other dimensions?" He says he was doing it just now, and she says "Amazing. I didn't notice at all."
-Takeshi says they're right in front of him. Coco says "really? Where, where?" Takeshi says she's the person, and Coco laughs. Rest is the exactly the same.
-Perspective switch to Hokuto. Coco and Hokuto/BW are talking in the blue line space (you know what, I'm just going to call it the 4th dimension from now on). Dialogue is the same up until Coco suggests that Sara taught the lullaby to Tsugumi, who taught it to Coco. Hokuto says that's impossible, thinking that Coco doesn't exist in the worlds Sara is in.
-He then remembers the possibility that Tsugumi is also "resetting" in parallel worlds like him. Coco then begins her counter from the original, but also adds that Hokuto's wrong- Tsugumi's not the same as him in that aspect.
-When Hokuto asks Coco about "the world she's in", she says, "Huh? The world I'm in? You should know the world I'm in, right?" Then the same dialogue again. When Coco mentions her ESP, she says, "Maybe a better way of calling it would be 'The Third Eye'."
Coco: "The one my Papa and Nakkyu's Mama are researching."
Hokuto: "The Third Eye really exists?"
-The dialogue from the original starts again, and continues to the end.
Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 18 (end-game spoilers):
-Perspective switch to Takeshi, who's still in the Lemurian Ruins with Coco. Coco tells her "adult Amerijoke" from the original. I got an Achievement: "Amerijoke Master". Takeshi mutters that there's 31 hours left until LeMU collapses. He's worried something will go wrong, yet he feels so relaxed. He remarks it's like a dream.
-Perspective switch to Hokuto, who's dreaming of the 4th dimension. Plays the same as the original until suddenly, Hokuto recalls the image he had of the impaled Tsugumi. He wakes up in the Infirmary, where Sora is.
-Hokuto wonders where he is. Sora explains he's in the Infirmary, and Kaburaki had brought him here after he lost consciousness. Remembering the impaled Tsugumi and Coco's words that it wasn't a dream, he decides to take action. He asks Sora where Tsugumi is.
-Sora tells him, and Hokuto goes running off. He finds her in front of the Qualle, entering. He goes in with her, and she gets surprised, asking why he's so frantic. Same plays as the original.
-The screen goes white, and we get a Perspective Switch. Against a black background, Tsugumi explains it's the wound from earlier. Apparently, the lights have gone out in the Qualle, with Takeshi watching her.
(Strange... there's no CG of Tsugumi showing her thigh anymore. What, did the CERO think it was too inappropriate now?)
-Tsugumi explains it's the proof she's a monster, and that to her, living and time don't exist for her. The viewpoints merge, and we get the scientific explanation from Tsugumi's Route on the Cure Virus. It's slightly different from the original, but the main points are still the same.
-Perspective switch to Takeshi. Tsugumi explains it made her weak to the sun, so she was always in dark rooms. However, she found she could now see well in the dark, due to her infravision.
-When Tsugumi asks if Takeshi doubts her, he says "Why should I need to doubt you?" He explains that while it sounds like some kind of occult or fantasy story, he can tell from the look in her eyes she's serious. However, he says there's one thing he doesn't believe.
-When she asks what that it, he says it's her proclamation that she's a monster- when he looks into her eyes, all he sees is a normal girl.
-The Qualle goes dark again. Tsugumi whispers, "Idiot..." They are then wrapped up in each other's warmth, breaths, and sensations. Tsugumi says, "Then look. Don't avert your eyes. Look. All of it... to you and you alone, Takeshi. I'll show you my enitirety."
-While the descriptions of the scars and everything are the same as the original, we actually hear Tsugumi cry in this version instead of just being told she does. The rest is the same, including them "becoming one".
-The part afterwards is the same. Some of the descriptions and dialogue are slightly different, but nothing of consequence.
-Perspective switch to Hokuto. After going through his shock, he runs out of the Qualle. Again, mostly the same, just cuts a small bit of his inner turmoil. Like the original, after realizing Takeshi and Tsugumi are his and Sara's parents, he goes to the Control Room, where You"aki" tells him it's 2034.
Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 19 (end-game spoilers):
-Perspective switch to Takeshi, who's talking with You"haru" in the Control Room. Her story is the same, except that it's narrated from You"haru"'s view instead of a third-person view like in the original, and the viewpoints merge.
-In addition to "Come to my lab", Shigezo Morino added, "I can't save you from your despair, but I might be able to lighten your burden a little." There, instead of saying the different ways of immortality, he went right into explaining scientifically how genetic immortality works, that genes are immortal. He finished with "So what do you think? Would you have the information in your genes replicated?"
(Also, Shigezo is voiced in this version.)
-The talk of immortality was hope to You"haru". Shigezo mentioned that originally, there were problems with cloning because the telomares had to be shortened, meaning the clones aged much faster, but he has a way to prevent that.
-Rest is the same. Perspective switch back to Hokuto. Conversation is the same right up until You"aki" explains the mail date, then she says, "So it seems... that my real mother actually is dead after all..." Hokuto says "No", as he knows the truth about You"aki"'s real mother. He leaves.
-He calls for a meeting with Tsugumi and Sara in the Maintenance Room. Here, though, some of the monologue has been cut, so perhaps Sara didn't suspect Tsugumi was her mother here (I think her actions on her route can attest to that). There's not much mentioned about Tsugumi's nervousness either.
-When Hokuto says "this is the real Takeshi" to Tsugumi, her face warps into an expression of regret and sadness. Rest is same. After Hokuto says that Tsugumi is there mother, all three of them go "..."
-It skips Hokuto shouting at Tsugumi to talk, and she gives her whole "I'm not your mother" bit from the original.
(Oh god... Yuu Asakawa's delivery of the "I'm not your mother" speech made me cry in this version. In the original, I didn't cry until the embrace, and those were tears of happiness. These are tears of sorrow.)
-After she says that, the viewpoints merge (or rather, we're actually using Tsugumi's perspective now). We see Tsugumi in the sub, crying after Takeshi sacrificed himself. Pipi whines, and Tsugumi says, "You're lonely too..." and holds Pipi tightly. Her and Pipi reach the surface, and open the hatch. She lets go of Pipi, telling him to go to where his "precious person is too" (assuming Coco is on Insel Null). She dives back into the ocean, and goes looking for Takeshi.
Tsugumi: I looked for him. I wanted to hear his voice. I wanted to feel his warmth. I wanted to be by his side. If I was just with you... then I needed nothing else. If I was just with you.
-Three days later, Tsugumi washed up on a beach. She realizes she washed up there, and that Takeshi wasn't with her. She realizes she couldn't find him, and so she was all alone, as the only one who survived. As she walks along the beach, looking at the ocean she feels something moving on her chest.
-She hears Chami squeaking, and then cries, saying his name over and over again. She held Chami in her hands, and remarks, "At that time, that small warmth alone is what saved me." The rest is then from the original, though some of the lines are a little different, but basically say the same thing.
-Two months later, TB had spread. The news was filled with people dying from the "unknown virus". Naturally, Leiblich's name was nowhere to be mentioned in those reports. She then realized she was pregnant after getting morning sickness, and the rest is the same (though keep in mind this is all from Tsugumi POV instead of a third-person narration.)
Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 20 (end-game spoilers):
-It then gives pretty much an abridged version of Tsugumi's story from the original (that is, it skips over the "boat shack" part from the original- irritating, as I thought that was rather heartwarming, and shortens the explanation of Sapiens-Cure, though we still know everything we need to know), though it mentions she was hiding away somewhere for a while
-One year later, the three of them were living together somewhere else. She spent a lot of time with her children, and at night, she would sing them the lullaby. Rest is same from the original.
-At the beach, she remembers Takeshi's last words to her "You're not alone anymore." She remarks, "That's true, it's all right.... I really am no longer alone..." It skips the part where Hokuto saved Sara from the ocean.
-Rest is the same up until the "several years later" bit. When she found Hokuto and Sara had gone from the orphanage, Tsugumi was unable to find out who had taken them due to the orphanage's policy. Doing an investigation of her own, Tsugumi learned they had been taken by Leiblich.
-She remarks that once again, they had taken the people most precious to her away. From that day on, she kept looking into Leiblich facility after facility, looking for Hokuto and Sara. One day, she received a message: "If you come to LeMU, you can see your children again."
-While she knew it had to be a trap, that she didn't truly believe it, she still went to LeMU, they place where she had lost something precious, where she would now go to to recover that which was precious.
-Switch back to Hokuto. Sara is singing The Moon and Sea Lullaby with a choked voice. She then says, "I understand... Mama, I understand your feelings. Mama... Mama... MAMA...!" All three of them embrace, and the rest is the same from the original
(Goddammit, Kuranari family! Stop making me cry again!)
-When Hokuto leaves, he thinks about the fake "Takeshi", wondering who he is. He runs to the pool, where he hears Kaburaki saying to himself, "Hey, is this all right...? Takeshi, if it were you, what would you do...?"
(I'd almost forgotten what I loved about this route so much... it delivers emotional drama and plot twists every five minutes in this part!)
-The confrontation is the same up until Kaburaki yells "How could you know the history of before you were born!?" Images and words from Takeshi's Routes, fly through Hokuto's head, such as LM-QSS17, IBF, TB, the Cure Virus, Pipi, Chami. He sees images from all three of Takeshi's endings (Tsugumi, Sora, and the Bad Ending).
-He then remembers the endings of Sara and You's routes, and remembers the words "Third Eye" and "Blick Winkel". He then remembers the image of You"haru" in HIMMEL.
(Well okay, all they really did is take a segment from later, brought it here and added images to it.)
-It ends, and Kaburaki says, "You don't know why, but you know it, don't you? Then just what the hell are you!?" Hokuto then thinks over what he does know about himself- he's Sara's brother, his name is Hokuto, he's the son of Takeshi and Tsugumi, and thinks while that's all correct, something still feels fundamentally wrong. Rest is the same, and I get an Achievement when Kaburaki reveals his real name.
-Perspective switch to Takeshi, where Kaburaki remembers his name. He writes it down, and the kanji used to spell it. Takeshi congratulates him, saying, "That's a relief, Kid... no, I mean, Kaburaki." Kaburaki thanks him, and the rest is the same.
-Perspective switch back to Hokuto, where he wonders just who the hell he is. He thinks back to everything, and remembers the talks he had with You"aki" about the Third Eye. Kaburaki then asks.
Kaburaki: "Well? Have you finally remembered your true self?"
Hokuto: "I... have the power of the Third Eye... that's why I know..."
Kaburaki: "Oh ho, seems you've finally got half of it right."
Hokuto: "... Half?"
Kaburaki: "But from the looks of it, it doesn't seem like you've fully recovered your memories."
Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 21 (end-game spoilers):
-Perspective switch back to Hokuto, where he wonders just who the hell he is. He thinks back to everything, and remembers the talks he had with You"aki" about the Third Eye. Kaburaki then asks.
Kaburaki: "Well? Have you finally remembered your true self?"
Hokuto: "I... have the power of the Third Eye... that's why I know..."
Kaburaki: "Oh ho, seems you've finally got half of it right."
Hokuto: "... Half?"
Kaburaki: "But from the looks of it, it doesn't seem like you've fully recovered your memories."
-Hokuto remarks he's right, he still hasn't regained his memories, just fragments, and he still doesn't know the most important bits, such as what kind of person "the existence known as Hokuto" is.
-He asks Kaburaki if his memories will return. Kaburaki says, "Yeah, if you wish for it, they will. If you believe and wish for it, that wish will become reality." Hokuto says, "My wish?" and Kaburaki reassures him once again that everything will return. He strokes Hokuto on the head, just like Takeshi did for Kaburaki after Kaburaki rememebered his name.
Kaburaki: "With that, my role has now ended. Well then, time to return to my original work..."
-Kaburaki then leaves. Hokuto knows that Kaburaki knows who he is, but that Kaburaki probably won't tell him even if he asks. He then thinks that "she" might know who he really is.
-Perspective switch to Takeshi, same stuff.
(Coco's joke made more sense in Japanese. It was "What time is it, Mr. Whale?/It's 9:00!" The joke is that the Japanese for whale is "kujira". In addition, Japanese for 9:00 is "kuji". So she said, "It's Whale" as the time, and also why Takeshi comments on it being 8:00.)
-Also, since there's no more Cosmic Whale room, Takeshi points out there is no starry sky. Coco says, "If you can see that with your heart, then it's okay." When she says she can talk to people from other worlds, Takeshi asks if she means talking to the dead, which she says no to. Rest is the same.
-Perspective switch to Hokuto, who's in the 4th dimension with Coco. It's the same until Coco says "Blick Winkel." She then says, "Sorry, I've got to go... This is the last time we can speak like this, Hokutan... We won't be able to meet anymore, so I'll be waiting... I'll be waiting."
-She touches Hokuto's hand, and says, "I'll be waiting for you..." and disappears. Hokuto is shocked, wondering where she went. He screams her name. The viewpoints then converge, and we see Kaburaki in 2017, shouting Coco's name in the Control Room.
-Hokuto (or rather, BW) tries to shout out to Coco, but his voice can't reach her. He keeps screaming to no avail.
(Gah! The 3D version of the real Takeshi startled me because of how... odd he looks. BTW, Soichiro Hoshi's voices for adult Kaburaki and the real Takeshi have some differentiation in this version- Kaburaki sounds a bit nasal and slightly lighter, while Takeshi has a deeper, non-nasal voice. It kinda sounds like a deeper version of his Keiichi voice from Higurashi.)
-The scene plays out like a mixture of Tsugumi and Sora's routes, with Sora telling them about TB and IBF. Rest plays out like it did from Takeshi's routes, with Hokuto/BW making similar comments.
(I also forgot to mention it in the earlier routes, but in this version, Kaburaki isn't as freaked out about Coco as he was there.)
Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 22 (end-game spoiler):
-On the elevator, You"haru" tells Takeshi the same stuff about Sora she did in Sora's Route. Rest is a mix of the same stuff from Takeshi's Routes, up until Yoichi dies. He says "I leave... daughters... to... you..." then dies after his last words.
(Either You and Coco, You and Sora, or all three of them, I guess.)
-Outside, Takeshi and You"haru" have their conversation from Sora's Route, and get the backup program and everything. Everything is the same until the end of their second conversation, where Tsugumi comes out of the pod room.
-Takeshi and You"haru" get worried, assuming something happened to Coco, but Tsugumi assures them she's stable for now. Takeshi asks why she's here, and Tsugumi says she was going to check the sub bay. Takeshi goes with her.
-The scene from Tsugumi's Route ensues.
(After comparing the writing style of the original parts from the routes here to the ones in Never7, I think I now know which routes were written by Nakazawa and Uchikoshi in Never7, but obviously, no one else would really know about them at the moment.)
(Incidentally, after reading Never7, I see they made a mistranslation in the original. Shigezo Morino's comment that "In this world there are probably at least two or more types of the Cure virus..." should have been "In this world there are probably at least two or more types of Cure..." But that's another story.)
-After Tsugumi starts crying, Takeshi gently places his hands on Tsugumi's shoulders and says, "But with this, it's now clear. There's hope inside you, Tsugumi... You can save everyone with the antibodies for TB that you have within you."
-Rest is same from Tsugumi's Route. When Takeshi begs Tsugumi to help them, he adds, "I know I'm being selfish and that I'm asking too much of you..." and after his next line, "I want you to believe that hope exists..." Rest is same from Tsugumi's Route. When Takeshi is barely conscious after the Cure Virus injection, he hears Tsugumi say, "If you don't wake up... I'll never... I'll never forgive you..." She then goes to get Chami.
-When Takeshi goes to call the sub, he remarks, "it's so small... it's like a toy." He still remembers to take the terabyte disk with him as he goes to save Sora.
-Rest is same as his routes, but after he lands on the floor, and is writhing in pain, he shouts, "FUCK IT... I'M NOT GOING TO DIE!" Sora comes over to him, and tells him why what he just did was so reckless. Rest is a mix of Tsugumi and Sora's Routes, such as saving Tsugumi and backing up Sora.
-After the disk goes in, everyone thanks each other for what they've done, including Tsugumi thanking Sora. Sora says it's just her job, but Takeshi says it has nothing to do with that, they're thanking her because she's their companion. Rest is same as Tsugumi's Route.
Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 23 (end-game spoilers):
-Perspective switch to Hokuto. He wakes up in the Infirmary. You is sitting over by him, relieved he's conscious. She asks if he's all right and if he can move. Hokuto then says, "Which You are you?"... his voice acting having returned.
(Hokuto's voice is also a bit deeper than Kid Kaburaki's. It's hard to put into words, but while he still speak in a young voice, the high-pitch that Kaburaki had sounds smoother in Hokuto's voice.)
-He asks her what year it is, and she asks him if his memories are still chaotic. She says it's May 6th, 2034. He repeats her, when a siren goes off. You"aki" tries to call for Sora, but she can't reach her, and she wonders what's going on.
-Hokuto suggests they go to the Control Room, and You"aki" agrees. Hokuto asks where the others are, and You"aki" says they were making preparations in the Maintenance Room. In the Control Room, the red lights are flashing.
-Sora is there, and tells them there's been an explosion in the Maintenance Room. She tells them to stay there. Hokuto wonders what caused the explosion, as it was Sara's gunfire that caused it in her route, but there should be no reason for any of that this time.
-Perspectives merge, and Hokuto/BW are now in the Maintanence Room, a perspective again. He sees no one in the room, and no signs of any explosion. He returns to Hokuto when You"aki" shouts her concern for Sara. Hokuto wonders what that was about.
-Sora confirms Kaburaki and Tsugumi are okay, but You"aki" wonders about Sara. Hokuto says it would be best for them to go check it out. He wonders if Kaburaki was involved, that he might be planning something.
-However, Sora receives a communication from Kaburaki, confirming Sara is okay. Sora is about to go check things out, but Hokuto asks her if there actually was an explosion. She doesn't answer the question, saying "Leave it to me. I'll take the others to a safe place" and then tells them not to leave the room. Hokuto thinks to himself the way she didn't even acknowledge his question was as if she was reading off of a script.
-Hokuto heads for the door, but You"aki" stops him, telling him Sora told them to stay put. Hokuto tells her that there was no explosion and that there is no danger, as he saw it. You"aki" is doubtful, saying the monitors say otherwise, but if Hokuto's going, then she's going with him. He finally gives in, and stays behind, not wanting to risk the chance that he's wrong and she could get hurt.
-Sora doesn't return. You"aki" then talks to him, saying that if Hokuto was right that there was no explosion, then maybe they've been deceived by someone. Hokuto then remembers Tsugumi telling him "they" may have been responsible for his amnesia, and the image of Kaburaki comes to his mind.
-Like her route, You"aki" expresses the possibility they were trapped on purpose. Dialogue is same from her route. After she finishes, Hokuto wonders to himself why Kaburaki was repeating the events of 2017. He remembers Kaburaki telling him his memories hadn't fully returned.
-Dwelling on The Third Eye, Hokuto wonders if he has it, why he doesn't understand everything. He then remembers Coco telling him he's not really Hokuto, that he's the "perception" itself. Just then, a strange sound breaks out.
Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 24 (end-game spoilers):
-You"aki" realizes it's a communication from the outside. They see You"haru" on the other line. Hokuto realizes that she's Yubiseiharukana. Same conversation from You's Route. When You"haru" says she's in HIMMEL, Hokuto/BW becomes a viewpoint again.
-He sees inside HIMMEL. We see that Sora was the operator talking in You's Route.
Sora: "Unidentified particle surge acceleration currently increasing! Planck time acceleration also enlarging here!"
Assistant: "Superposition stable!"
You"haru": "Woohoo! We've almost got it!"
Assistant: "Well done, ma'am!"
-You"haru" then remarks that it's still to early to celebrate, and asks Sora to guide "him" there. Sora agrees, and reappears in the Control Room. You"aki" asks what Sora's doing, and asks if she's also one of their accomplices.
(I can't get over how terrible You"haru"'s 3D model is... She has the face of an old lady...)
-Sora merely apologizes. You"aki" asks about the others, and Sora assures them they're all safe in HIMMEL. Hokuto tells You"aki" they need to go their to confirm everything. You"aki" agrees with him, saying she really wants to give her mother a piece of her mind.
-Sora says she'll guide them to HIMMEL. She does so, and when they arrive at the door, Hokuto mutters, "'Heaven', huh..." He walks through the door, and sees the silloutte of You"haru". He sees her in full. He thinks he knows her name: "Yubiseiharukana Tanaka".
-Dialogue is the same, except BW came into the world at 1:17 P.M., not 3:17 P.M. Also, they're slightly less subtle about the fact that you, the player, are Blick Winkel, but they never quite say it. Just that "You know that the Third Eye is someone from another world, a world one dimension higher, an existence that borrows a 'perspective' in order to look down on our world."
-BW remembers Coco talking about the same stuff. You"haru" tells him he isn't borrowing a perspective, he is the perspective. She then tells him he can see the past and present, and he could even see the end of Takeshi. BW decides to do so, and travels through the 4th dimension.
-He returns to Takeshi's perspective in the IBF pod room.
-Tsugumi wakes him up, saying the taxi's here. Takeshi gets up, and Tsugumi asks about his body. He says he's okay now, and they should leave right now. Tsugumi gets Chami, and they leave the room. They find Pipi in the hallway, and Takeshi picks him up.
-The place shakes, and they start running. Rest of the scene is the same as it was in Tsugumi's Route. When we get to Takeshi leaving the hatch, however, the new song, "Der Kern-Je nach" starts playing instead of "Der Mond Das Meer". Rest is the same as in Tsugumi's Route.
(So they didn't use the original dialogue... *sigh* But you know, after thinking about some of the worse changes this remake has made, it doesn't really bother me so much anymore.)
Spoiler for Ever17 Xbox 360 Coco Part 25 (end-game spoilers):
-Hokuto gives his speech, but a bit is added at the end- where he quotes what Takeshi told Tsugumi: to never let go of hope, and shouts at his father to not lose hope. Also, there's an echo effect added to his voice. Finally instead of crying, Hokuto's voice is filled with determination.
-Hokuto and BW think "I want to save him!" and "Don't die!" Choice time- telling Takeshi to live is the only option.
(Basically, the tone of the speech seems to be "Get up on your feet!" instead of "Please wake up!" here.)
-Perspective switch to Takeshi.
"A light was born. I was in the cold, dark depths. A wide, far, and seemingly endless pitch black world. I was there... Suddenly... I feel... a gentle, warm prescence. A light shined before me."
-Choice time. Again, only one choice: "Live!"
-Takeshi says the light speaks, giving him strength.
Takeshi: "I... I won't die... To hell with that..."
-He opens his eyes. He feels himself crushed by the pressure, and can't move his body. Note that instead of from BW's perspective, this is from Takeshi's perspective. He urges his body to move, "saying" "I'll never... let go of hope... I'm going to live!
-He keeps urging his body to remove, and remembers all the power Tsugumi says Cure gives the infectee. He says right now, he needs that power, and urges himself to move. After a bit, he finally starts moving, and can swim through the water. He emerges from IBF, and coughs out the seawater.
(I left a bit out of here that implies that it was a certain something from Never7 that saved Takeshi's life here.)
-As he lies on the sub bay, he remarks it looks like fate didn't want him to die in the ocean. He then notices that IBF is fine, despite LeMU having crumbled. He stands up, and walks through the facility. Note that he hasn't conversed with Hokuto yet.
-He heads over towards the pod room, thinking he can still contact the rescue team. However, he realizes he's forgotten where it is. As he's wondering, a light suddenly shines in his head. Choice time. The only choice is "left".
-He turns left, and finds Coco. When she wakes up, she says, "Takepyon... I found you..." Same dialogue from the original ensues, except Coco says she was looking for Takeshi, not Pipi. In response, Takeshi embraces Coco, and apologizes. Coco just pats him on the head.
-When Coco passes out, Takeshi freaks out, realizing Coco hasn't received any antibodies. He quickly starts running back to the pod room. He tells her to hang on, as he's going to inject her with the antibodies. He continues to reassure Coco and himself.
-Returning to the pod room, Takeshi injects Coco, remembering how You"haru" did it. He begs for the antibodies to work. He then tries to contact the surface, but to no avail. He curses, and punches the wall.
-He thinks it over, and realizes there's no other way out, thinking swimming would just be suicide. He then notes Coco doesn't seem to be getting better, and realizes it's because she was infected longer. He wonders what he should do.
-At that point, it switches to BW/Hokuto's perspective. BW wonders the same thing, thinking while he managed to get this far, he doesn't know what to do next. He then thinks of an answer- just tell everyone above what happened to Takeshi and Coco.
-He sees the rescue team on the surface, talking to a few people, and shouts at them to save Takeshi and Coco. But no one responds. He realizes he can't reach them (they explain why, but I didn't understand the explanation.)
