I don't think we will have to worry about that. For one only Anya can see the dog vision for two she will be at school often where the dog won't be and for three the dog only see parts of the future but now how they happen or when and why which is why the Clock in the vision was so important for Anya even if she cannot read it yet. Also I have a feeling the future the doggo sees always impact his own life in a way, like meeting the Folgers or Twilight dying meaning he will be out of the picture but he would have still become Anya's dog.
