Sorry, but that analogy just doesn't comfort me. I really do find a 12 year old girl saying "My doll thirsts for blood!" to be a trifle more disturbing.
Hardened warrior: "My blade thirsts for blood!"
Little girl: "My doll thirsts for blood!"
Do those really seem the same to you?
