This episode doesn't bring enough closure to the support cast for my taste IMHO. Still, even though I try to mentally laugh at the show and tell at myself "what's with the plot direction?", I still find myself getting mightily touched by the scenes.
12 episode series like this usually get an OVA, so I'll be looking forward to that. Hopefully it will show off the support cast some more.
