You can now deposit checks using the Bank of America iOS app

The company updated its iPhone app Wednesday to include the feature, which earlier this year it announced would arrive on its mobile devices. The feature was introduced to the iPad late last month.
The new feature can be accessed by signing into your account through the app. Once signed in, you will see three new buttons near the top. The one on the right reads "Deposits," which you click to get to the feature. The first time you use the feature you will have to click "Get started," and you'll have to accept the terms of service, but then you're good to go.

Doesn't directly apply for a non-Apple Bank-of-Montreal user like me but woooow!
Can't wait for when it gets to canadian banks and android service. I wouldn't have to plan out when it's convenient to deposit my cheques anymore. (Such a pain, BMO moved to all the weird places that I don't visit)
