This kind of man is either super popular or ostensibly hated depending on the portrayal, but still, more often than not the heroine fall for him :|
It can be compensated that he's putting the jerk mask so that everyone don't want to be close to him, and he really has a line of morality not to be crossed. Still a flaw, but considerably justified than being pure asshole.
