If I had to describe this series, I'd have to say that it's a bit similar to Gantz (especially when it comes to the high number of throwaway deaths). But rather than directly battling supernatural threats to the death, it's more like the protagonists basically all play deadly children's games against them instead (as the above summary says). I just started reading it a couple nights ago and found it really addictive. I also really like how over-the-top it can be . So far my favorite game was the one with the giant cat, which had some true WTF moments indeed.....
Right now I'm at chapter 15, but there's currently 20 chapters total at the moment. And while some people may lynch me for this, I'm actually liking this series a lot more than Gantz, mainly because I feel that it doesn't take itself nearly as seriously (it also helps that everyone doesn't look like some plastic mannequin, but that's just personal taste, I think). Heck, one of the characters even reminds me of Hisoka from Hunter x Hunter (right down to getting a boner when he's excited about fighting someone strong, lol
). So yeah, I totally recommend checking this one out! I'm definitely already looking forward to the next chapter release despite me not being caught up yet....
