No, Kodaka already talked to Kate about the fiancee thing right after the Sena-Yozora confrontation. She even looks a little relieved in her small-voiced comment after that. It's the scene leading to her telling Kodaka about the plot of Yozora's story being plagiarized from an existing movie.
