So far the LN has 6 volumes released in Japan, the WN has 7 but the author hasn't added anything to his Syosetsuka ni Narou page in the last 4 months.
As for differences the first 6-7 chapters they're almost identical besides a few word/spelling/grammatical corrections. Chapter 8 is a LN extra chapter, and from there up to the currently translated chapter 17 there are a couple dozen extra lines in each chapter and slight changes to the flow of some stuff.
