I disagree we’ve discussed this before in IRC and IMO the food has
nothing whatsoever to do with actual magical energy. The linker core as an oragan uses the food energy to convert mana in the air into usable mana, but it dose NOT convert the food itself into mana. Mana is never created in the mage merely harvested and refined from outside and this harvesting process requires energy this is what the food is for.

3. The LC also has a storage function. Through rest and meditation, one can regenerate their magic potential over time.

I also disagree with this somehwat as well while the LC might do some stroage I think in many ways it's more like an engine then a gas tank. When engaged it starts sucking up mana first from inside the body, but it burns that very fast it then goes to external "fuel" IE the mana in the air and starts using that to make "Horsepower". Of course an engine has it limits it can only take in so much fuel so fast before it's either flood or explodes. One can overdrive it for short periods of time using various methods, but as with such power boosts in real engines it comes with increased risk.
IMO this is supported by the fact we don't really see mages "running out" of mana merely tiring out and becoming less able to process it as there body reaches its physical limits. This also explains why physical training is vital and we see so much of it done by mages. If the use of magic requires and relies heavily on the effective utilization of food energy stored in the body by the linker core to draw in outside energy and make it useful then in many ways it's much like any other physical activity and physical training to make your body more efficient at using that store energy would benefit you magically as well.

As for the rest, we agree a lot, including the spiritual component of the core being the seat of the soul.
|
This I just consider total nonsense as we see cores damaged and such and no one ever becomes a zombie or something in fact the very concept of a soul existing in Nanoha is highly suspect. We see no nercomancy, after life, ghosts, etc shit UC
Gundam has more hints at a true soul then Nanoha does.

The lack of detection in 97th-level imaging indicates that it is purely an immaterial organ that bridges both material and immaterial realms.

Or more logically it means that non-mages simply DON'T have LC and since such people are so extremely rare on earth none of the tiny handful that do has ever been subjected to the kind of intense imaging technology that would be needed to locate the core which in any case would have only come about in perhaps the last 20 to 30 years anyway.

- the core is 100% spirit;

Just untrue IMO based on canon immaterial spiritual objects don't need carbohydrates anymore then god needs a space ship.

- that everyone is born with one except have very differing levels, and it is possible to suddenly "awaken" a latent core by a suitably strong enough stimulus;

Also probably untrue IMO see above reasoning.

- it can be transferred via means of suitably advanced magic, resulting in temporal fusion of two individuals or possibly an immaterial "archon"-like being (Resembling Shinigami from Bleach);

Probably possible much organ transplants it would be risky, but doable.

- "spirit energy" for me is still unlinked Mana, albeit floating in the Warp and Astral Planes instead of the Materium;

A sane and unusually level headed thing for you and I'd agree.

- and Ki is just a name for the mana linked via training a very low-potential LC to whip up some for physical enhancement (the magic basis of kungfu in other words).

Another sane idea and another one I'd agree with basically guys in Nanoha with Kung-Fu super powers are unknowing tapping into there linker cores. They can THINK it's because of some sort of living force in them, but it's just magic being done a different way.

There's no evidence for this and when such is lacking it's logically to keep things simple which is that the linker core requires no circulatory system since it's
never seen, mentioned, or even hinted at in all text on the LC.

It isn't a muscle, period. It can't be detected by simple imaging, or even surgical techniques, but it remains anchored to the person's soul and that undiscovered secondary comms network. At least this is what I think, using what I know so far.

You have no proof of that and I have a perfectly valid reason we don't know about it 1. The technology to acutally see inside a person with the kind of claity needed is acutally quite new. 2. Earth has basically no magic users with a grand total of TWO in
six billion confirmed. There are tons of people NOW that will go there entire lives without a full blown cat scan or MRI of there entire body to think that a mage (who might well KNOW there a mage and thus be wary) whose one in a million (If not billion) would just happen to blunder in to get scanned and that'd they'd acutally be paying enough attention to notice is a stretch.
Quote:
See my above answer. It really doesn't have to be a muscle, or any material component at all.

Yes it dose I say again ethereal spiritual constructs don't us calories.

Just to add on: The LC only becomes visible with special scanning techniques of the magical world. They know how to look for it and make it visible.

Just to add on Kha is basiclly touting his own set of beliefs and ignoring large bits of canon that get in the way.

And once again, whether we like it or not, canon follows the specifications of a game.

Nonsense, utter nonsene.
I see so any show that uses team based tactics is now based on RPGs.

Never proved even slightly in fact all the times we see very thin or small jackets they're almost always said to provide inferior protection. We also have quotes talking about how the ammount of fabric effects protection.
