Didn't think GS still had it in him to feel guilt to the extent that he did this chapter (63). That was great (in terms of character development) to see tbh. If he can still feel guilt and regret to that extent, then there's still hope for him to regain normalcy to a point where he could live a life that doesn't involve obsessing about goblins 24/7.
I knew that under that stoic demeanor and trademark literalness, there was still some humanity left and that he was still capable of caring for comrades and even considering people friends. I just didn't know how strongly he felt emotions anymore since becoming what he is now. This chapter helped me gauge quite a bit where he stands in terms of emotional maturity.
