If Emiya is correct he's spent so far what? 10 episodes hiding in his basement?
Granted the intel being provided by the assassins were nice but he's making some bad choices IMO.
Even Emiya has stated that it's better to leave Berserker alone because he is capable of countering Archer's Gate.
