While Kuesu isn't an ayakashi such as Himari or others, she is still a rather powerful witch, so I'm not going to count her out just quite yet

that's the problem with this being a low-popularity manga... we don't have the latest updates.

In Palladium, the only one who "dies" is the robot girl, because she ran out of power or something. The witch (base for Kuesu) was still alive, and stayed in the school. The mask girl wasn't a ghost, but after she got closure with the MC she left to live her own life. And the Himari base became the MC girlfriend.

Also, I'm not to worried about Kuesu. From what I can tell she is one of tee most powerful characters in the series, so regeneration probably isn't beyond her. Besides, she's probably using a double or something so Yuuto will get pissed and unleash his power. Which has been her goal since her intro.
