The menu is again in English, but the rest is in Japanese (they didn't mentioned if it can be translated).
By starting a new game, you open a map and chose a place with some "event".
In map, you have
character: that it is about (and you will be playing it with)
title: name of the incident, some event..
place: name of the place with small image
other: other characters you will be playing with.
Some events needs to be unlocked first.
Also you can change time (per hour) and everytime different events will be on map.
They show changing it from 7:00 - 20:00 and everytime there were 5+ events.
