GR could do that, but he chose not to. So he does care about Ise enough to actually stop and give some of his flesh to him. Afterwards he even fused with him.
Why do you think it's unintelligible? Because it didn't say anything in the few paragraphs it was awake? Fenrir doesn't talk and GR only said one sentence in the entire series.
If Shiva can't beat it, how do you think they'd go past it when it's under Asia's control? (Again, she can't do it because he's not a Dragon)
