So, the side stories are really spinoffs unconnected to the main plot nor add a whole lot of breadth to the characters? Which means I can skip them, just like Toradora's spinoffs.

Btw, RRW, are you translating from Chinese or Japanese?

I just finished the "working student council"; can't remember whether it was animated, I think it was but it wasn't as good. Anyway I laughed so hard that I cried............ in public.
